Kara Hoffman is currently getting her Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health at Tulane University, and she will be graduating in December 2017. She began working with PRC in the fall of 2016 and is also a member of the Center for Excellence in Maternal and Child Health Scholar’s Program at Tulane. Kara is interested in working as a public health nurse with a focus on nutrition education and closing the disparities in children’s health care access upon graduation.
